Three Sentenced for 2019 Robbery and Murder of Luke Lembryk

Three individuals involved in the 2019 robbery that led to the tragic death of Luke Lembryk have been sentenced for their roles in the crime. Luke’s life was brutally taken in a senseless attack during a botched robbery inside his Condell Park home.

As Luke lay in a pool of blood in his mother Robyn Bradley’s arms, he gasped, “I’m going to die, mum, I’m going to die,” moments before he succumbed to a stab wound to the heart. The crime, committed by a group of drug addicts looking to steal money and drugs, lasted only 60 to 90 seconds, but its impact on Luke’s family has been irreversible.

During the invasion, Luke’s mother, who had been battling cancer for ten years, was also assaulted. She would spend the final months of her life mourning her son’s brutal death. When she passed away, she had been grieving for her son for three months.

Speaking outside the NSW Supreme Court, Luke’s father, John Lembryk, expressed the profound loss his family has endured: “Everything’s changed for everybody, everybody’s life has changed. We can never get that back.”

Earlier, Lisa Price, Viliami Taufahema, and Bilal Rahim were sentenced for their involvement in the crime. Justice Sarah McNaughton of the NSW Supreme Court delivered the sentences following the tragic home invasion that led to Luke’s death.
