Three Men Arrested in Decatur for Organized Retail Theft

DECATUR, Ala. — Three men were arrested following an investigation into organized retail theft after stealing over $1,800 worth of merchandise.

According to Decatur police, a business located on Point Mallard Parkway reported three separate incidents between December 2024 and January 2025, in which the same individuals stole items from the store.

The suspects were identified as Jilberto Jacinto, Abraham Felipe, and Omar Felipe. After further investigation, warrants were issued for their arrest on January 17, charging them with organized retail theft.

Omar Felipe and Jilberto Jacinto were arrested on Thursday, February 15, and taken to the Morgan County Jail, where they were each held on a $5,000 bond. Abraham Felipe was arrested on Sunday, February 18, and also booked into the Morgan County Jail with a $5,000 bond.

The investigation and arrests highlight Decatur police’s ongoing efforts to combat organized retail theft in the area.
