Three Floridians Arrested for Stealing Over $2,000 in Madison, MS

Three individuals from Florida were arrested on charges of felony shoplifting and conspiracy to commit a crime after stealing over $2,000 worth of merchandise from an ULTA Beauty store in Madison, Mississippi.

The suspects, identified as Randolph Joseph, 25, Shira Thompson, 41, and Joseph Mitchell, 60, were apprehended following a call to Madison Police Department at 1 p.m. on the day of the theft. The trio had stolen products from the store on Grandview Boulevard and left the scene in a silver BMW.

Police later located the vehicle on Madison Avenue near West Frontage Road and conducted a traffic stop. All stolen merchandise was recovered, valued at $2,276. Officers also found additional stolen items that could be connected to shoplifting incidents in other areas of Mississippi and beyond.

Thompson, in particular, has a hold placed on her by Henry County, Georgia, for felony shoplifting. The three suspects are currently being held at the Madison County Detention Center as they await their initial appearance in the City of Madison Municipal Court.
