In a significant development in the triple murder case in Kheri Lakha Singh, Yamunanagar, police have made three additional arrests. The accused have been identified as Ravinder alias Kalu from Golni village, Gurwinder from Dang Dehri village, and Suraj from Nahan House Valmiki Nagar, all in Haryana. The trio was arrested by joint teams of the Yamunanagar CIA-I, CIA-II, special staff, and Radaur police from areas including Ambala and Radaur.
All three accused were presented before the district court, which granted a three-day police remand for Ravinder and four-day remands for Gurwinder and Suraj. This brings the total number of arrests in the case to six, as three other individuals were apprehended earlier.
DSP Rajesh Kumar confirmed that the three arrested suspects are believed to have facilitated the criminals behind the murders and were involved in the organized crime network. “Investigation will continue based on the information the accused provide during their remand period, and they will be charged according to their roles in the crime,” said DSP Kumar. The police suspect that up to six more individuals may be involved in this heinous act.
Additionally, the case has led to significant fallout within the police force. Nine personnel, including five officers, two special police officers, and two home guard jawans, were dismissed from service after Haryana Agriculture Minister Shyam Singh Rana called for strict action against those responsible for failing to prevent the murders.
The police are continuing their raids to apprehend more individuals linked to the crime, and further revelations are expected soon.
