Three Arrested in Vicksburg Drive-By Shooting Incident

VICKSBURG, MS – On Thursday, September 26, 2024, three men from Vicksburg were arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting that took place on June 7, 2024, in the 4100 block of Washington Street, resulting in one injury.

Willie Andre Johnson, 49, was charged with drive-by shooting and aggravated assault with a firearm. During his court appearance in Vicksburg Municipal Court, Judge Angela Carpenter set his bond at $225,000 and bound him over to the Warren County Grand Jury.

Jermaine Tremone Johnson, 46, also appeared before Judge Carpenter on the same day, facing similar charges of drive-by shooting and aggravated assault. His bond was set at $225,000, and he too was bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury.

Calbert Cordell Cosby, 22, was charged with drive-by shooting and aggravated assault as well. His bond was set at $250,000, and he was also bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury.

All three men are now awaiting further legal proceedings related to their charges.
