Three Arrested in Tambaram for Ganja Trafficking, 13 Kg Seized

The Tambaram City Police have arrested three individuals in two separate locations for trafficking ganja, seizing a total of 13 kg of the contraband.

Acting on a tip-off, the Tambaram Prohibition Enforcement Wing had been surveilling areas near Maduravoyal Bypass Road in Anakaputhur on Monday. During the operation, they intercepted and arrested Srikanth Tarei (29) and Harish Chandra Tarei from Odisha. The police seized 7.8 kg of ganja along with two mobile phones from the duo.

The investigation is ongoing, with further actions expected as part of the crackdown on drug trafficking in the area.
