Three Arrested in Rs7 Lakh Theft from Stone Quarry in Kondamanaickenpatti

In a significant breakthrough, three migrant workers were arrested by the local police on Wednesday evening in connection with a Rs7 lakh robbery at a stone quarry in Kondamanaickenpatti.

The theft took place late Tuesday night when the thieves attacked the watchman, Palanisamy (53), at the quarry owned by Sri Balan. The workers overpowered Palanisamy and stole Rs7 lakh in cash that was kept at the quarry.

The police quickly launched an investigation and managed to trace the suspects to a nearby locality. The three migrant workers, whose identities were not immediately disclosed, were arrested for their involvement in the robbery.

The stolen money was reportedly recovered, and the arrested individuals are expected to be presented in court for further proceedings. The quarry owner, Sri Balan, expressed relief after the arrests were made.
