PALO PINTO COUNTY, Texas — The body of Marvin Wayne Henry was discovered on December 16, near the access road of Interstate 20 close to Exit 373. The Palo Pinto County Sheriff’s Office reported that Henry had suffered significant traumatic injuries, and authorities are investigating whether his death occurred in the county.
Henry’s car, which was reported missing, was located about 115 miles northeast of Palo Pinto County, near Gainesville, Texas. This discovery prompted a collaborative search effort by state and federal law enforcement agencies to locate the missing vehicle and gather further evidence related to his death.
The search led to the arrest of three individuals: Natalie Gomez, 31, Pascual Villaneda, 39, and Ruperto Toscano, 44. All three are facing charges of capital murder and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. They are being held in Cooke County Jail, with each suspect’s bond set at $1.01 million. Toscano is also under an immigration hold due to his illegal status in the country.
According to Cooke County Sheriff Ray Sappington, Henry’s vehicle was found on Monday in Cooke County, near the Texas-Oklahoma border. The suspects were apprehended shortly afterward, with the third suspect arrested the following day.
The investigation remains ongoing, with the three suspects expected to be transported to Palo Pinto County within the next 10 days.
