Three Arrested in Multi-State Theft Ring Targeting Walmart

HOUSTON COUNTY, Ga (WGXA) — The Perry Police Department has announced the arrest of three individuals linked to a “multi-state theft ring” targeting Walmart and other major retailers throughout the southeastern United States.

On December 17, law enforcement apprehended Christopher Simpson, 41, Peyton Foster, 26, and Johnathan Eubanks, 31, after connecting them to large-scale thefts at several Walmart locations in Middle Georgia.

The investigation, conducted by the Perry Police Department, Houston County Sheriff’s Office, and Walmart’s Global Investigations Division, reveals that the suspects were part of an organized group involved in stealing high-value merchandise from Walmart and other big box stores across the region.

During their arrest, authorities recovered approximately $30,000 worth of stolen goods and found evidence linking the suspects to thefts at Walmart and other stores across state lines.

Simpson, Foster, and Eubanks are currently being held at the Houston County Detention Facility while awaiting formal charges. The investigation remains ongoing, and Perry police are encouraging anyone with information related to the theft ring to contact the Perry Police Department or Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
