Three Arrested in Jeff Davis County Drug Busts

JEFF DAVIS COUNTY, GA – Three suspects have been arrested in separate drug-related incidents following traffic stops by Jeff Davis County officers in recent weeks.

February 25 Drug Bust
At approximately 12:24 p.m. on February 25, 2025, a Jeff Davis drug investigator stopped a vehicle on Lumber City Highway. During the stop, the officer detected the odor of marijuana, prompting a search of the vehicle. Authorities discovered over 300 ecstasy tablets, marijuana, suspected psychedelic mushrooms, digital scales, and packaging materials.

A field test on the ecstasy confirmed the presence of methamphetamine. As a result, the following individuals were arrested:

Dennis Broody Jr. was charged with:

Trafficking methamphetamine
Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
Possession of a controlled substance
Possession of drug-related objects
Traffic violation
Probation violation (by the Department of Community Supervision)
Tiara Tillmon was charged with:

Trafficking methamphetamine
Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
Possession of a controlled substance
Possession of drug-related objects
March 2 Drug Bust
At approximately 2:14 a.m. on March 2, 2025, a Jeff Davis K9 deputy initiated another traffic stop. During the investigation, the driver attempted to conceal something near the gear shifter and center console.

Upon searching the vehicle, officers found:

A straw used for snorting drugs
Digital scales
Suspected cocaine hidden under the gear shift panel
As a result, Timothy Dwayne Stone was arrested and charged with:

Possession of cocaine
Possession of drug-related objects
Authorities continue to investigate these cases.
