Three Arrested in Brutal Murder of Viramgam Teacher Nareshbhai Chavda

Viramgam Town Police have successfully solved the brutal murder of Nareshbhai Jesangbhai Chavda, a 41-year-old primary school teacher from K B Shah School, Viramgam. Three suspects have been arrested, and the vehicle used in the crime has been recovered.

The incident took place on January 27, around 7 a.m., near Lakshmi petrol pump in Viramgam. Nareshbhai was attacked inside a four-wheeler with wooden poles, iron pipes, and a hammer by three individuals, inflicting severe injuries. He was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Following a complaint filed by his cousin, Nanubhai Vasubhai Chavda, a case was registered under various sections of the GP Act. Initial investigations revealed that Nareshbhai was allegedly having an affair with Harshaben Kalabhai Gohil, a married woman, which angered her husband, Kalabhai Hirabhai Gohil. He, along with his associates, conspired to murder Nareshbhai.

The arrested individuals involved in the pre-planned murder are:

Kalabhai Hirabhai Gohil
Ajitbhai Khengarbhai Gohil
Jesangbhai alias Gokabhai Ramabhai Kataria
The police analyzed CCTV footage from the crime scene and recorded statements from eyewitnesses and doctors at Gandhi Hospital in Viramgam. The call detail records (CDR) of the accused were also traced, leading authorities to their hideouts.

After receiving intelligence from the LCB Ahmedabad Rural, police set up a trap and intercepted a white Swift car traveling from Ahmedabad via Dasada and Viramgam Bhojwa Bridge. The vehicle was seized, and the suspects were arrested.

The police are now focusing on recovering the murder weapons and the abandoned vehicle used during the attack. Further interrogations are underway to determine if more individuals were involved in the conspiracy.
