Three Arrested in Armed Robbery at Comfort Inn in Greenville

Three individuals were charged following an armed robbery at the Comfort Inn on Tuesday, Jan. 14, around 12:20 a.m. Authorities report no injuries during the incident.

Surveillance footage from the hotel revealed the suspects displaying a firearm and stealing a phone and snack from the hotel clerk in the front lobby of the Comfort Inn, located at 3212 S Memorial Drive in Greenville.

The suspects were later identified as Alton Freeman, Micah King, and Niquarian Higgs. They were arrested the following afternoon near Peed Drive. During the arrest, investigators discovered evidence linking King and Higgs to a separate armed robbery at the Speedway on Jan. 8. Both King and Higgs now face additional charges for their involvement in the Speedway robbery, along with the Comfort Inn incident.
