Three Arrested for Theft in Trikuta Nagar Jammu

Three individuals from Delhi and Madhya Pradesh were arrested today for their involvement in a theft case in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. According to police reports, Ruby Trikha, wife of Lt. Major Sandeep Trikha, filed a complaint on December 16, 2024, regarding the theft of electronic items and other household goods from her residence at House number 129, Sector-1, Trikuta Nagar.

The police registered FIR number 344/2024 at Trikuta Nagar Police Station and launched an investigation. During the inquiry, three suspects—Azad, a resident of Narola, Delhi, currently staying in Trikuta Nagar; Suresh Anuragi; and Dashrat Ahirwar, both from Chatterpur, Madhya Pradesh—were detained for questioning.

After intense questioning, all three suspects admitted to their involvement in the theft. Upon their confession, police recovered several stolen items, including three gas cylinders, a refrigerator, an LCD, an inverter, an inverter battery, and other household goods.

The arrests were made by a team led by SHO Trikuta Nagar, Rajesh Jasrotia, and further investigation is ongoing.
