Three Arrested for Stealing Wallet at Victor Walmart

Three individuals were arrested on Thursday in connection with a theft at the Victor Walmart. The suspects, identified as Karina Echegaray-Polo, 27, of Paterson, New Jersey; Josue Alberto Fernandez, 28, of Queens; and Jose Alberto Ortiz-Pariona, 33, of Paterson, New Jersey, allegedly stole a customer’s wallet before attempting to use the stolen credit and debit cards at Eastview Mall.

Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies were alerted to the larceny and intercepted the trio in the parking lot of the mall, where they were detained. The suspects were found to be involved in several organized larcenies across New Jersey and Pennsylvania and were wanted fugitives.

The suspects were charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and transported to the Ontario County Jail, where they remain in custody. The investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to look into the suspects’ involvement in multiple thefts.
