Three Arrested for Cheating Udupi Doctor in UK MPH Seat Scam

in a recent breakthrough, Udupi police arrested three individuals for allegedly cheating a Udupi-based doctor out of a Master of Public Health (MPH) seat in the United Kingdom. The arrested trio includes S. Suman (24) from Hosanagar, Shivamogga, and Suhan Khan (22) and Mohammed Mahaz (23) from Belvai village near Moodbidri.

The police seized Rs5 lakh, a car, and two mobile phones from the accused during their arrest. The accused had allegedly promised the victim a guaranteed MPH seat in the UK, only to deceive him out of a significant sum of money.

The police are continuing their investigation into the case, ensuring that further action is taken against the fraudsters involved in this educational scam.
