Thiruvambadi Devaswom President Arrested in ₹7.78 Crore Fraud

Sundar C. Menon, a businessman and president of Thiruvambadi Devaswom, was arrested by the District Crime Branch team on August 4, 2024, in connection with an investment fraud case.

Menon, a Padma Shri awardee, is accused of duping investors out of Rs7.78 crore through two financial firms—Heewan Nidhi and Heewan Finance—according to a press release from the Thrissur city police.
