Thiruvalla Police Arrest Man for Using Son to Smuggle Narcotics

On Saturday, Thiruvalla Police arrested Muhammed Shameer (39) for using his 10-year-old son to smuggle narcotics. The police seized 3.78 grams of MDMA from Shameer’s possession during the arrest.

According to officials, Shameer had been transporting the drugs by taping them to his son’s body using adhesive strips, sending him as a covert drug carrier for deliveries. Investigations revealed that Shameer had been supplying narcotics to a wide network, which included school and college students. Authorities also uncovered that he had recruited other schoolchildren to act as drug carriers in his illegal operations.

This case has raised serious concerns about the exploitation of minors in drug trafficking, and police are working to identify the full extent of the network involved in this illegal activity.
