Thalaghattapura Police Arrest Five Nepali Nationals in Rs50 Lakh Theft

Thalaghattapura police have arrested five Nepali nationals for allegedly breaking into a house in JHBCS Layout, Gubbalala, and stealing valuables worth Rs50 lakh. The stolen items include 502 grams of gold, 4.5 kg of silver, diamond jewelry, and two mobile phones, which were recovered from the accused.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Lal Bahadur Bohara (48), Kamal Bahadur Chalouni (34), Kiran Bohara (23), Netra Bahadur Chalouni (42), and Rajesh Bahadur Saha (35). The suspects were working for daily wages in hotels and other local businesses.

According to Police Commissioner B. Dayananda, the police swiftly acted on the case and apprehended the suspects. The stolen valuables have been returned to the victim, and further investigation is ongoing.
