Texas Woman Arrested for Meth Manufacturing in San Angelo

On Wednesday, the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a stolen Ford Explorer in San Angelo, which led to the discovery of 102 grams of methamphetamine and additional evidence linking the vehicle to illegal activities.

The traffic stop, on a Ford Explorer reported stolen out of Abilene, prompted a subsequent search of the vehicle. Officers uncovered the methamphetamine, prompting further investigation. Police then executed a search warrant at a residence on the 600 block of North Adams in San Angelo, where they recovered more meth and evidence pointing to the manufacturing and distribution of the drug.

38-year-old Jana Thompson was arrested at the scene and charged with manufacturing a controlled substance. Authorities are continuing to investigate the case as they believe there may be additional individuals involved in the distribution network.
