Texas State Trooper Jacob McKeon Arrested for Official Oppression

HENDERSON COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) – Jacob Joseph McKeon, 34, a state trooper from Seven Points, has been arrested and charged with official oppression and criminal trespass after allegedly forcing his way into a home in East Texas.

The incident occurred on December 1, around 3:15 a.m., when a Henderson County deputy was dispatched to CR 2507 in response to a burglary call. A witness at the scene claimed that McKeon, wearing a grey hoodie, presented a badge and demanded to know the whereabouts of his niece.

According to the affidavit, McKeon pushed his way into the home, entered a bedroom, and woke up the homeowners by yelling, “Wake up. I’m the law, and you’re going to jail.” The mother of the household reported that she found McKeon, a stranger, standing in her bedroom and asked him to leave. He allegedly refused and continued shouting expletives.

McKeon, a trooper based in Ellis County, was arrested and booked into the Henderson County Jail, where he was released after posting a $60,000 bond.
