Tevin Gillespie Arrested with Gun and Drugs in Car with Kids

Clovis, Calif. (KFSN) – A father is facing serious charges after Clovis police arrested him for carrying a loaded handgun and methamphetamine while his children were in the car.

On Saturday afternoon, Clovis Police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Willow and Gettysburg avenues. During the stop, the driver, 30-year-old Tevin Gillespie, was detained after officers discovered he had an outstanding warrant.

Upon further investigation, police found a loaded handgun concealed in Gillespie’s jacket along with methamphetamine that appeared to be packaged for sale. Officers later confirmed that Gillespie is a gang member and a convicted felon.
