Terence Benjamin, Isiah Smith & Marvin Brumfield Arrested

BILOXI, Miss. – Three Biloxi men were arrested on felony drug trafficking charges after a traffic stop led to the discovery of 88 pounds of marijuana, authorities said.

According to Harrison County Sheriff Matt Haley, the arrests took place on Friday, March 14, when Harrison County Narcotics Task Force Investigators pulled over a vehicle on Shriners Boulevard near Village Drive.

Inside the vehicle, police encountered 26-year-old Terence Benard Benjamin, 24-year-old Isiah James Smith, and 32-year-old Marvin Bryan Brumfield. Officers initially found a small amount of marijuana, but a search of the trunk revealed a handgun and 70 pounds of bulk marijuana.

Following the traffic stop, police executed a search warrant at a residence on Trailwood Drive, where they seized:

18 additional pounds of marijuana
Three rifles
Drug distribution paraphernalia
All three suspects were arrested and booked into the Harrison County Jail, each held on a $250,000 bond. They have been charged with trafficking in a controlled substance.
