Telangana STF Arrests Two Men in Hyderabad with Rs2.75 Lakh in Drugs

On Saturday, April 5, 2025, the Telangana State Task Force (STF) of the Excise and Prohibition Department made a significant drug bust near the Sun City area of Hyderabad, arresting two men who allegedly attempted to deliver a consignment of illegal narcotics.

The arrested individuals, Tejas Katta and Sohail Ahmed, both aged 29, were apprehended following a tip-off. During the operation, the STF seized a variety of illegal drugs valued at Rs2.75 lakh, along with Rs1 lakh in cash and a car used in the offense. The drugs confiscated included 21 grams of OG Kush, 32.5 grams of hashish, and 56 grams of LSD blast.

The STF’s swift action highlights their ongoing efforts to combat the drug trade in the region. The accused are currently in custody, and further investigations are underway.
