Telangana Police Bust Interstate Drug Smuggling Racket, 5 Arrested

Telangana police successfully dismantled an interstate drug smuggling operation on Friday, seizing 803 kg of dry ganja worth Rs3 crore. Five individuals were arrested in connection with the operation, while two suspects remain absconding.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Somanath Khare, Sunil Khosla, and Jaga Suna, all hailing from Odisha; and Sanjeev Kumar Hollappa Okare and Harade Sanjeev Vittal Reddy, both from Bidar, Karnataka.

The operation highlights the ongoing efforts by the Telangana police to curb the smuggling of illegal substances into the state.
