The District Educational Officer, S. Ravinder Reddy, issued an order on Thursday suspending two government teachers for their alleged involvement in the UBIT cryptocurrency trading scam uncovered in Nirmal district.
According to the order, Dasari Ramesh, a Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT) at a primary school in Kannapur, Khanapur mandal, and Keeram Venkatesh Goud, another SGT from Daujinaik Thanda in Kubeer mandal, have been placed under suspension. Both individuals have already been arrested in connection with the scam.
