Tayum Susen Arrested for the Murder of His Wife in Papum Pare

Papum Pare district police have arrested a 30-year-old man, Tayum Susen, for allegedly murdering his 22-year-old wife in Kakoi village. The tragic incident took place on November 24, with the young woman, originally from Assam, found dead in their home.

The police were alerted to the crime on the morning of the murder, and officers from Kimin police station responded quickly to the scene. The suspect, Tayum Susen, was arrested on the same day. The couple’s three young children are now left without both parents, adding to the tragedy of the situation.

Papum Pare Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Radhe Obing confirmed the arrest and stated that a post-mortem had been conducted after filing the FIR. The police are continuing to investigate the motives behind the killing and other circumstances surrounding the crime.
