Tanzanian Citizen Arrested in Kerala for Inter-State Drug Trafficking

The Sultan Bathery police arrested Prince Samson, a 28-year-old Tanzanian citizen, on Monday, March 10, for his involvement in a large-scale inter-State drug trafficking operation between Kerala and Karnataka. Samson was caught after a two-week investigation based on valuable information from an earlier arrest of another drug pusher in the Wayanad district.

Samson is suspected to be the key link in a network of drug dealers operating between the two states. Authorities, working with the Bengaluru Anti-Narcotics squad, apprehended the suspect following a series of coordinated flash inspections in the region.

The arrest is part of ongoing efforts to crack down on illegal drug operations that have seen an influx of foreign nationals. Samson’s capture is a significant step toward dismantling the trafficking ring operating across state lines.
