Tampa Police Arrest Four After High-Speed Chase, Shooting

TAMPA, Fla. – Four suspects were arrested Monday night after firing at Tampa Police officers and leading them on a high-speed chase that ended in a crash.

At approximately 8:00 p.m., officers in an unmarked unit spotted a 2020 Nissan Rogue speeding recklessly westbound on E Hanna Ave near N 43rd St. As officers moved in to initiate a traffic stop, the vehicle abruptly stopped, and occupants fired multiple shots before speeding away again.

Although officers did not return fire, they pursued the vehicle, which quickly crashed into bushes near N 53rd St and Nancy St. Five suspects fled on foot, with three barricading themselves in a home on Sharon Dr.

Tampa Police, with help from their K-9 Unit, apprehended the suspects shortly after the crash.

Tyce Hunter (20), Jaden Roberts (21), and Jerdavius Stubbs (20)
Felony: Burglary of an Occupied Dwelling
Misdemeanor: Resisting an Officer Without Violence
Jamariq Travan (21)
Felony: Fleeing and Attempting to Elude a Police Officer
