Tamil Actor Mansoor Ali Khan’s Son Arrested in Drug Bust

Ali Khan Tuglaq, the son of popular Tamil actor Mansoor Ali Khan, has been arrested along with nine others for their involvement in the possession and sale of banned narcotics. The arrests followed an extensive investigation by a special team that had been tracking a drug cartel operating under the alias ‘OG’.

The investigation was sparked by the earlier arrest of Zidan Zubeen, a key member of the drug gang, whose interrogation revealed crucial details. Based on Zubeen’s information, authorities extended their probe and successfully tracked down Ali Khan Tuglaq and the other suspects, leading to their arrest on Tuesday.

Among the 10 individuals arrested, seven, including Ali Khan Tuglaq, were presented before the Ambattur Court, where they were remanded to judicial custody. The case took a significant turn when authorities found GPay transaction records on Zidan Zubeen’s phone, which showed payments for drugs, helping investigators identify other members of the operation.

The investigation revealed that the drug cartel had been smuggling ganja from Andhra Pradesh, with Muhammad and Jayamujeen, both from Mannadi, playing critical roles in the operation. These two were also arrested as part of the probe. The gang had been specifically targeting students from a private college in Kattankulathur to distribute drugs, further complicating the case.

As the investigation continues, authorities are working to uncover the full extent of the network and its operations. The arrest of Ali Khan Tuglaq has garnered significant attention, given his connection to the entertainment industry.
