TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A Tallahassee couple is facing lengthy prison sentences after pleading guilty to drug trafficking and related charges in connection with a major bust conducted by the Leon County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO).

Jeffrey Williams, 36, and Charice Williams, 34, were arrested in August 2024 during the investigation dubbed Operation Full Press. The operation, led by LCSO’s Narcotics Unit and the North Florida High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area CADRE Initiative, utilized undercover buyers and wiretaps to expose a large-scale trafficking ring.

Jeffrey Williams pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including two counts of trafficking phenethylamines (Ecstasy), conspiracy to traffic methamphetamine, trafficking in methamphetamine, cocaine trafficking, possession of a pill press, tampering with evidence, maintaining a drug house, fleeing or eluding police, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison, with seven- and three-year mandatory minimum sentences.

Charice Williams, meanwhile, pleaded guilty to trafficking cocaine and conspiracy to traffic methamphetamine. She was sentenced to five years in prison.

The bust was part of a larger investigation that led to the seizure of over 10,000 pressed MDMA pills, more than 4 pounds of methamphetamine, 222 grams of pills suspected to contain fentanyl, approximately 6 ounces of cocaine, two pill presses, firearms, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia used in the manufacturing and distribution of illegal narcotics.

Attorney General Ashley Moody highlighted the increasing problem with counterfeit pills and the danger they pose to the public.
