Talaiya Police made a significant breakthrough on Sunday night, arresting the fourth suspect involved in the brutal murder of 23-year-old Adil Khan at Budhwara, Bhopal. The accused, identified as Ronit (also known as Ruhen) from the Mata Mandir area, had been on the run since the incident.
Ruhen had fled to Delhi after the crime but continued to stay in contact with his cousin to gather information about the police investigation. Following a trail that led through Agra to Delhi, police tracked his location and arrested him. He was brought before the court and subsequently sent to jail.
This arrest follows the capture of three other suspects in the case: transgender Alvira Khan, Nawab, and Abdul Rehman, who were arrested earlier. Investigations revealed that Adil Khan’s murder was a result of a personal vendetta. Alvira, a former bar dancer from Kanpur, had been friends with Adil but the relationship soured after he started aiding a rival transgender group. In retaliation, Alvira and her associates reportedly plotted and executed Adil’s murder.
Adil was fatally stabbed by Alvira and her aides, Nawab, Abdul, and Ruhen, in a brutal attack. The police are continuing their investigation into the motives and connections between the individuals involved.
