Square and Yards Real Estate Scam ₹24 Crore Fraud Uncovered

A significant real estate scam has emerged in the city involving Square and Yards, a real estate company accused of defrauding customers through fake farmhouse villa investments. The Hyberabad police have registered a case against the company’s management, leading to the arrest of owner Baira Chandrasekhar and four accomplices.

The accused allegedly collected an astonishing Rs24 crores from unsuspecting investors, luring them with promises of double returns on their investments in villas and farmhouses located on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The scam came to light when numerous victims reported receiving neither their promised returns nor the properties they had invested in.

Following these complaints, police have initiated an investigation to uncover the full extent of the fraud and identify any additional parties involved. Authorities have stated that further action will be taken as the case develops.
