Spokane Police Recover Stolen Property, Arrest Two Suspects

SPOKANE, Wash. (KXLY) — On December 5, 2024, Spokane police responded to a report of stolen property in the 1700 block of East Lincoln Road after a community member used a tracking device to locate his stolen bike. The bike had been taken from his garage about a month ago. Upon finding the bike, the victim confronted a male who claimed ownership of the property. The victim left the scene and called 911.

Officers arrived and, based on additional information, learned the stolen property was inside an apartment. They obtained a search warrant, and upon entering the apartment, they found a large quantity of stolen goods. Among the items were multiple delivery boxes with different names, mail, clothing, golf items, and tools—all of which had no connection to the apartment’s occupants.

Zack G. Bunke, 39, was arrested for 1st Degree Possession of Stolen Property and booked into the Spokane County Jail. Amanda L. Wright, 42, the other occupant, was arrested for obstruction.

The SPD Crime Analysis Unit began reaching out to the individuals listed on the recovered items, and 21 victims have already been reunited with their stolen property. The investigation remains ongoing, with additional charges potentially forthcoming.

Spokane Police commend the excellent teamwork of the responding patrol officers and the Crime Analysis Unit in recovering these stolen items.
