South Zone Task Force Arrests Harpreet Singh Rishi and 4 Others for Cash Snatching

The South Zone Task Force, along with Gudimalkapur police, has arrested five individuals involved in the snatching of a cash bag from a jewellery shop manager last month. The arrested persons include Harpreet Singh Rishi of Kishanbagh, who led the gang. The police recovered Rs. 43.8 lakh in stolen cash, along with mobile phones that were bought with the stolen money and an air pistol that was used to threaten the victim.

The robbery took place on the night of August 30, when the gang, led by Harpreet Singh Rishi, attacked the jewellery shop manager at PVNR Expressway Pillar No. 28, Mehdipatnam, and forcefully snatched the cash bag. Further investigations are ongoing to uncover additional details about the gang’s activities.
