In a significant breakthrough, the Bhimavaram police in West Godavari district have arrested a six-member gang involved in 11 theft cases across the region. The accused have been identified as A. Krishna Vamsi, Dokku Sai Kiran, N. Haribabu, O. Durga Malleswara Rao, D. Eliazer, and a minor boy.
The gang’s criminal activities were uncovered after a thorough investigation by the Bhimavaram police. As part of the operation, six two-wheelers and 500 grams of jewellery were recovered from the suspects, adding to the evidence of their involvement in the series of thefts.
Additional Superintendent of Police V. Bheemarao confirmed the arrests and stated that further investigation is underway. The police are working to identify any additional victims and expand their inquiry into the gang’s activities.
