HARARE – Zimbabwean singer Trevor Dongo was arrested on Wednesday by officers from Harare Central Police Station and charged with malicious damage to property following a fire at his rented apartment in the Central Business District.
The incident, which has been widely publicized, led to an investigation into the cause of the blaze and Dongo’s possible involvement. Authorities have yet to disclose further details regarding the extent of the damage or possible charges beyond malicious damage to property.
Dongo, known for his R&B hits and troubled past, has yet to comment on the allegations. The case remains under investigation.
