The accused have been identified as Balbir Singh (alias Fauji) from Naghadhar village, Akhilesh Kumar Mehta from Kholighat village, and Savèen Mehta from Shalag village, all hailing from Nankhari Tehsil in Shimla.

The trio was arrested during a routine police check while traveling from the bus stand to Nankhari. Upon inspection, authorities discovered the heroin in their possession, marking a significant breakthrough in combating drug trafficking in the region.
