BEAR, DE — Delaware State Police have apprehended 28-year-old Shaquille Campbell from Wilmington in connection with a robbery at a 7-Eleven in Bear, DE, that occurred on December 23, 2024. Authorities say Campbell entered the store on Pulaski Highway, threatened an employee, and demanded money before fleeing with cash.
Through thorough investigation, Troop 2 Robbery Detectives identified Campbell as the suspect. A manhunt ensued, and Campbell was found in Deerfield Beach, Florida. He was taken into custody with help from the Broward Sheriff’s Office and the First State Fugitive Task Force.
On February 6, 2025, Campbell was extradited to Delaware and arraigned on charges of Robbery First Degree and Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony. He is currently being held at the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution under a $66,000 cash bond.
These charges are allegations, and Campbell is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
