Shanel Denise Hargrove Walker Arrested for Stolen Vehicle Crash in Decatur

DECatur, Ala. (WHNT) – A woman has been arrested in Decatur after allegedly stealing and crashing a vehicle on December 13.

Decatur Police responded to a crash on the 800 block of 6th Ave. NE and discovered the involved vehicle had been stolen. Investigators from the Decatur Police Property Crimes Unit identified Shanel Denise Hargrove Walker as the primary suspect and obtained an arrest warrant for her.

On December 23, Walker was located by the Huntsville Police Department in northwest Huntsville. She was taken into custody and transported to the Morgan County Jail, where she was charged with first-degree theft.

A Morgan County Circuit Court Judge set Walker’s bond at $20,000.
