GLASGOW, Ky. – A 40-year-old Glasgow man, Shane Pruitt, has been arrested and charged with assault and first-degree strangulation following a domestic violence incident.
Incident Details
Glasgow Police responded to a residence on Lauderdale Drive on Wednesday, where they found a female victim with a cut on her cheek and redness on her neck. The victim reported that an argument with Pruitt had turned violent, leading to her injuries.

Pruitt was taken into custody and charged with:
Fourth-degree assault (domestic violence, minor injury)
First-degree strangulation (domestic violence related)
He is currently lodged at the Barren County Detention Center as the case proceeds.
