Mobile, Ala. (WPMI) — On Sunday, March 2, 2025, at approximately 12:17 a.m., officers responded to a three-vehicle crash at Airport Boulevard and Florida Street. Upon arrival, they discovered a female victim who had tragically passed away.
According to Mobile Police, the victim was heading south on Florida Street, crossing Airport Boulevard, when a female driver in a pickup truck ran a red light and collided with her vehicle. A third car, which was waiting at the red light to turn northbound, was also hit in the crash.
The driver of the pickup truck, identified as 23-year-old Shana Magbee, was arrested at the scene and taken to Metro Jail.
The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin have been notified.
