Shajahan, Nishad, and Mansoor Arrested for MDMA Peddling in Mangaluru

In a significant drug bust, the Central Crime Branch (CCB) police have arrested three men involved in drug peddling and seized a total of 42 grams of MDMA worth Rs 2.10 lakh. The accused were arrested following a tip-off that they were attempting to sell the illicit drug in the Mukka area.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Shajahan (32) from Kasargod, Nishad (27), a Kasargod native residing in Bengaluru, and Mansoor MM (27), originally from Madikeri, also residing in Bengaluru.

The trio had reportedly sourced the MDMA from Bengaluru and planned to distribute it in the Mangaluru region. Police seized the drugs, as well as their car, mobile phones, and the MDMA stash. The arrested men were promptly taken into custody and are currently being interrogated by the authorities.

This arrest underscores the CCB police’s commitment to curbing drug trafficking in the region. Further investigation is underway to identify the source and potential recipients of the narcotics.
