Seven men were arrested by Arani Town police on Tuesday in connection with the murder of a private finance firm employee, A. Vignesh (25), near Pudur village. The murder is believed to be the result of an ongoing enmity linked to a previous criminal case.
The accused have been identified as K. Dhanapal (25), V. Damodaran (24), B. Kamal (34), R. Santhosh Kumar (23), J. Dinesh Kumar (26), G. Prasanth (31), and S. Ashok Kumar (34).
According to police, Vignesh, a postgraduate and a father of one, had been working in the finance sector for several years.
