The Greater Noida Police have successfully busted a major fake passport racket with the arrest of seven individuals on Friday. The accused were allegedly involved in producing and distributing counterfeit passports through a well-established syndicate.
The arrested men have been identified as Sachin Jauhari (25), S. Vinod Kumar (25), Sanjid Dey (19), Sandeep Kumar (35), Birendra Garg (42), Veerendra Saxena (34), and Durgesh Kumar (44). Police officials revealed that the suspects operated across multiple regions, forging passports for illegal purposes.
The racket came to light after a detailed investigation led by the Greater Noida Police. Authorities were alerted after several fake documents were found circulating in the market. The arrests were made following extensive surveillance and intelligence gathering, which led to the discovery of the syndicate’s operations.
Police have seized numerous forged passports and documents during the crackdown. The arrested suspects are currently being interrogated, and further investigations are underway to uncover the full scope of the operation and identify any other individuals involved.
The authorities are now working to track down additional members of the gang, with more arrests expected in the coming days.
