Seven Arrested in Fort Worth ATM Theft Ring Linked to Houston

Fort Worth, Texas – Seven individuals were arrested by Fort Worth police in connection with an ATM theft ring originating in Houston. The arrests were made after a surveillance operation tracked the suspects to an ATM on Hulen Street.

The investigation into several ATM thefts in Fort Worth had been ongoing when police received a tip on January 16 that the suspects were returning to the city to commit further thefts. Officers set up surveillance and followed the suspects to a location in the 3800 block of Hulen Street.

At the scene, three suspects exited a stolen Ford F250 and approached the ATM armed with a pry bar and sledgehammer. They attempted to remove the ATM from its position using the stolen vehicle and tow straps. Officers quickly intervened, and while the suspects attempted to flee, they were arrested without incident.

Meanwhile, officers from the Fort Worth Police Department’s K9 and Directed Response units stopped two lookout vehicles, leading to the arrest of four additional suspects.

The seven arrested individuals were identified as Jamarkus Bogany (23), Eric Davenport (40), Traveon Lopez (37), Letrevious Pegese (23), Mitchell Prince (23), Andre Varnado (30), and Andreius Wynn-Farley (29). All were charged with engaging in organized criminal activity, with Bogany, Lopez, and Wynn-Farley also facing charges for evading arrest.
