Seven Arrested in Athens Meth Bust, Including Codee-Ray Kenas

ATHENS, Texas — A Sunday night search warrant in Athens led to the arrest of seven suspects and the seizure of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office executed the warrant on East Tyler Street around 7:35 p.m., uncovering meth packaged for distribution, along with several baggies, scales, and syringes.

Among those arrested were Major Codee-Ray Kenas, 45, who faces charges for the manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, and several others who were charged with various drug-related offenses.

Narcotics investigators with the sheriff’s office led the operation, with assistance from K-9 units and other law enforcement agencies.
