Senetra Miller, 34, from Bryant, Arkansas, was arrested after allegedly stealing a vehicle in Jonesboro and boasting about it on Facebook Live. Miller now faces felony charges, including Theft of a Vehicle, Greater than $5,000 but Less than $25,000, a Class C felony. She appeared before Judge Barbara Halsey on Monday, where bail was set at $50,000 cash or surety.
The incident occurred on January 6 when Jonesboro police responded to a vehicle theft on Melrose Drive. According to the probable cause affidavit, the alleged victim had gone out with Miller on January 4 for drinks at the Brickhouse. After returning home in the early hours of January 5, the victim noticed her vehicle was missing the next morning and was unable to reach Miller by phone.
On January 9, Miller went live on Facebook, allegedly stating, “When I calm down I might just tell her where her car’s at.” Detectives noted comments on the video suggesting Miller should get her “money’s worth” from the theft, to which Miller responded that she wasn’t getting back in the car.
A tip from a witness led police to a photo showing the stolen vehicle at a gas station in Helena on January 10. Video footage confirmed that Miller was wearing the same outfit from her Facebook Live video while at the gas station, further linking her to the crime.
Miller’s next court date is set for April 24. She is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
