SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — Patrick Tucker, 28, of Schenectady, pleaded guilty on Wednesday in connection with a significant drug distribution case. The U.S. Attorney’s Office announced that Tucker’s guilty plea is linked to his sale of more than an ounce and a half of methamphetamine in three separate transactions between January and March of 2023.
As part of his plea, Tucker admitted to distributing the drugs during this period. Under the terms of his plea agreement, Tucker now faces a minimum of five years in prison. However, he could be sentenced to as much as 40 years behind bars.
In addition to the prison sentence, Tucker could face a fine of up to $5 million and a probation term ranging from four years to life.
The case was thoroughly investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), with Assistant U.S. Attorney Dustin Segovia handling the prosecution.
The court proceedings are still ongoing, and Tucker’s sentencing date is yet to be set.
