Scarborough Man Sentenced to 5 Years for County Lines Drug Operation in Bridlington

SCARBOROUGH, UK — A Scarborough man has been sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to supply heroin and crack cocaine as part of a county lines drug-dealing operation in Bridlington. Louis Taylor-Broadfield, 31, of Ashlar Drive, Eastfield, Scarborough, was convicted of drug offenses relating to his role in the illicit network known as “Bradford Boys.”

The investigation, which began in November 2022, led to the identification of Taylor-Broadfield as a key figure in trafficking significant quantities of heroin and crack cocaine in the Bridlington area. Officers uncovered his use of a dedicated phone line to bulk-market drugs to users.

Through undercover operations, Taylor-Broadfield supplied drugs on three separate occasions to a covert officer between February and March 2023. Following these transactions, a search warrant executed at a property in Skipsea uncovered large sums of cash, mobile phones, drugs, and luxury items linked to the drug-dealing operation.

Further financial investigations revealed that Taylor-Broadfield and his partner, Tiffany Archer, had been living a lavish lifestyle funded by the proceeds of crime. Designer clothing, watches, and other high-value items were seized during searches at their properties. Despite the wealth, Taylor-Broadfield had no legitimate source of income to justify such purchases.

On September 25, 2023, both Taylor-Broadfield and Archer were arrested during a warrant execution at their home. Taylor-Broadfield was later charged with drug supply and possession of criminal property. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to five years in prison at Hull Crown Court on January 17, 2025.

Archer, 31, was charged with possessing criminal property and received a 12-month suspended sentence after pleading guilty. She admitted to suspecting the source of the funds but claimed she was unaware of the full extent of Taylor-Broadfield’s activities.

Detective Constable Karl Palmer emphasized the importance of dismantling county lines operations, stating, “By putting Taylor-Broadfield behind bars, we have dismantled a significant drug-dealing operation. We are committed to disrupting county lines networks and ensuring those who profit from the harm they cause are held accountable.”

The investigation continues, with a Proceeds of Crime Act confiscation now taking place regarding the luxury assets seized during the investigation.
