Sauviun Partee Arrested in Rockford for Drug and Gun Charges

A 20-year-old man, Sauviun Partee, was arrested Thursday morning in Rockford following a three-week investigation by the city’s Narcotic and Gang Units.

At 8:55 a.m., Rockford police executed a search warrant at a residence located in the 7400 block of Ryebrook Road. During the search, authorities found a loaded handgun equipped with an automatic switch and an extended magazine, as well as 125 grams of cannabis, drug paraphernalia, and cash.

Partee was charged with unlawful use of a weapon/machine gun, possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number, possession with intent to deliver cannabis, and lacking a valid Firearm Owner’s Identification (FOID).

He was taken into custody and is currently being held in the Winnebago County Jail, awaiting a pretrial detention hearing.
